Southcenter Cosmetic Surgery FAQ

How much does it cost for a consultation?
Consultations are free. Please call 206-575-0300 today to arrange your free consultation.

How long does the consultation take?
Your consultation will take 30-60 minutes depending on the procedure and complexity of your case. Please allow an additional 30 minutes total for completion of paperwork (general information before your appointment and detailed information following your consultation).

May I talk to other patients before I have cosmetic surgery?
Absolutely, if you would like to talk to patients who have had the cosmetic surgical procedure you are interested in, our staff would be happy to arrange that for you.

Can I go home the day of surgery?
Yes, all of our surgeries are outpatient surgeries. Meaning, you leave our facility to recover in the comfort of your own home.

Can I drive myself home after my surgery?
In most cases, you will need someone to drive you home and stay with you for at least 24 hours following surgery.

How much time will I have to take off work after my surgery?
This depends on a number of factors, such as, the complexity of the surgical procedure being performed, your age, your general health, the type of work you do, and many other variables. Your doctor will be able to give you a clearer picture, based on your individual circumstances, at your consultation appointment. In general, most patients should plan on being off work for 1-2 weeks.

Where is the cosmetic surgery performed?
Our office is an accredited surgical suite with two operating rooms located in the back of our office. You may ask for a tour of the surgical area at your consultation. Most pre-operative appointments take place in one of the operating rooms as well.

What days are surgery performed?
Anesthetic surgery days are Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Hair transplant surgery is scheduled on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Our surgery schedule fills up quickly; please call our office as soon as you know when you'd like to have your surgery.

Surgery times are scheduled to benefit all patients as determined by the doctor and anesthetist. As such, your time may change so we ask that all patients be flexible with the actual time of their surgery.

Do I have to go through the office after surgery?
No, we have a private exit door at the rear of our suite that patients can use.

What is required to schedule a cosmetic surgery?
A deposit of 50% of the surgical fees is required to reserve a day for surgery. The remainder of the surgical fee is due at your pre-op appointment or at least 10 business days prior to surgery. Anesthesia is paid directly to the anesthesia provider on the day of surgery. Your deposit holds your date for surgery but not the time. All surgery times are subject to change per the doctor's discretion based on the anesthesia needs and well being of each patient.

How can I pay for my surgery?
Payments can be made by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, check, cashier's check, money order, cash or through an approved financing company. All checks need to be made payable to Southcenter Cosmetic Surgery & Hair Restoration, Inc. Note that personal checks will not be accepted less than ten (10) business days prior to surgery. Payments can be made in our office during regular business hours, by phone or by mail.
